Hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as “funny and fresh-voiced,” Gary Ruschman is a critically-acclaimed performer, music director, and composer who works in a broad range of genres and musical traditions. He was a member of Cantus from 2004-2014 and currently holds conducting posts at North Hennepin Community College, St. Timothy Lutheran Church of St. Paul, and Mixed Precipitation’s summertime Pickup Truck Opera.

An American Composers Forum grantee and three-time ASCAP Plus Award winner, Gary recently provided underscore for the U.S. National Prayer Breakfast and released his third solo album, LynLake.
