Beer, Bowling, and Kale: A Northern German Harvest Celebration
Sunday, October 27, 2024
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Beer, Boßeln (road bowling), a stick-to-your ribs meal of smoked pork and kale—what else would you rather do on a Sunday Fall afternoon? The traditional Kohlfahrt (cabbage tour) is a gathering of friends to celebrate the harvest of kale in Northern Germany.
Ticket includes meal, one beverage (additional beer and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase), and everything needed to boßeln. Sorry, no Schnapps allowed at the brewery. Vegan meals are available upon request. The tap room will be open until 3 pm just for event attendees.
Dress for the weather, the event will take place rain or shine, although German board games may be substituted for boßeln in case of heavy rain/snow.
