Take your taste buds on a journey across Germany! Join us at the Germanic-American Institute and Old World Beer for an afternoon of beer exploration as we sample distinctive brews from several of Germany’s most celebrated brewing regions.
From the tart and refreshing Berliner Weisse to Munich’s classic lagers, Cologne’s beloved Kölsch, and even Bamberg’s famous smoked beer tradition, this guided tasting will introduce participants to some of the incredible diversity of German beer culture. Along the way, you'll learn about the history, brewing traditions, and characteristics that make each beer unique.
