Placement Test

Not sure which level class to take? you can test your language skills with these online placement exams.
Please note the level when you are finished. We do not automatically receive your score.

  • Level A1 | Starting Off

    You can use simple phrases and sentences to exchange basic personal information such as where you live and what your hobbies are. The test consists of 30 questions and takes roughly 15 minutes.

    You can communicate on important basic topics and say what you would like, for example while shopping.

    Test your German skills! With 30 exercises for advanced German learners, you can test your grammar skills and your reading and listening comprehension. At the end, you'll find out your current level of German.

    This placement test will help you evaluate your German language skills at levels (A1)–(B1).
