Course Cancellation Policy
-
If there are too few students registered to hold a course section(fewer than 6), the Director of Language Education will contact the student(s) 72 hours prior to the term’s start date to discuss other class options, or, if needed, a course refund or credit towards a course in the future.
If opting to purchase a book through the GAI, course and textbook fees are due in full before the first class session unless other arrangements have been made with the Director of Language Education.
Textbooks and course materials are non-refundable.
Student/participant absences are non-refundable or transferrable.
Credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
Refunds/cancellations/class transfers are subject to a $25.00 admin fee
-
Withdrawals and refund requests must be sent in writing to our Language Education Department by emailing language@gaimn.org.
A $25 admin withdrawal fee will be deducted from the total amount of refunds and tuition credits to cover our administrative costs for processing course withdrawals and refunds.
Students/participants who withdraw from a class 14 or more days prior to the first class session, are eligible for a full tuition refund or tuition credit toward a future class. A $25 withdrawal fee will be deducted from the amount of all refunds and tuition credits to cover our administrative costs for processing course withdrawals.
Students/participants who withdraw fewer than 14 days prior to the first class session will be eligible for a 75% tuition refund (after deducting the $25 withdrawal/late cancellation fee), or a 100% credit transfer for use in a future class (must be used within 365 days of course start date).
Refunds/withdrawals/cancellations will not be offered after 48 hours of the first class session.
Credit card processing fees, course books, and any other course material fees are non-refundable.
Student/participant absences do not qualify for refunds, class transfers, or substitutions.
If the GAI completely cancels a full course for any reason, the student/participant will be notified a minimum of 48 hours prior to the planned course start date, and may choose a tuition-credit toward a future class or a full-tuition refund, no fees for this service.
