Game Night (Spieleabend)

Join us for our monthly Game Night (Spieleabend)! February will be open play night – bring your favorite game or choose from our library of German and German-style games like CATAN, Dorfromantik, Ticket to Ride, Rummikub and more!

This month, Game Night and GAI Café will include a home and hygiene supply drive in support of the International Institute of Minnesota, helping immigrants and refugees make Minnesota their home. As a longtime GAI partner serving many of our founding members, the International Institute does vital work in our community. Bring a requested hygiene or household item and receive free admission to Game Night. To view the full list of items we’re collecting, please click here.

Adult tickets include 2 beverages, and Youth and Children tickets include 1 beverage. Light bar snacks are included. Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children 12 and older may be dropped off.

Not only is this a great way to hang out in the GAI Ratskeller, it can also be a fantastic way to practice your German language skills while you play. Let us know at registration if you’d like to play at a German-language table. Our staff is also happy to introduce you to new games.

No German-language skills are required. All are welcome!
